How Rolechia handles your data, in plain language. A lawyer hasn't reviewed this yet, so please treat it as a draft. In short: we don't run ads and we don't sell your personal data.
1. What we collect
Account information, such as your email address.
The résumé content you add — which may include sensitive details you choose to add, like a photo or date of birth.
Basic usage and analytics data, and any support messages you send us.
2. How we use it
To provide the service: store and render your résumés, generate PDFs, power your public links, keep your account working, and improve the product.
We don't use your résumé content for advertising.
3. Résumé data is sensitive
Résumé data is sensitive personal data, and we treat it that way. You decide what to include, and you can edit or remove it at any time.
4. Public CV links
If you publish a public CV link, the information on it becomes visible to anyone with the URL — because you chose to make it public. You can unpublish it at any time.
5. Storage & security
We protect your data with appropriate safeguards, encrypt it where appropriate, and keep uploaded files in object storage.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Rolechia — such as hosting, storage, and email delivery — under agreements to protect it.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. Any analytics are consent-based.
8. Your rights
You can access, export, correct, and delete your data. Deleting your account removes your résumé data and purges the files stored for it.
9. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete it, we remove it — though some limited records may persist briefly in backups before they expire.
10. Where your data is processed
Your data may be processed in the locations where we or our service providers operate.
Specific data-location and international-transfer details will be reviewed by a lawyer before this policy is final.
11. Children
Rolechia isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
